Airline “Russia” has expanded its fleet with another Boeing 747-400 and named it in honor of the city of Kazan.

Boeing 747-400 with tail number EI-XLH was released in 1999 and previously operated by airlines Japan Airlines and Transaero.

“Later in the flight program will include popular tourist resorts and cities in the Far East. Wide-body Boeing 747-400, one of the largest airplanes in the Park “Russia” has a layout 522 seats: 12 seats in business class and 510 economic. Seats in business class, located on the upper deck of the aircraft, have cocoon design and is arranged in a horizontal bed (full flat). Also the upper deck is 27 seats in economy class. On the lower deck is economy class – 483 chairs,” said the airline.

To date, the airline “Russia” from Kazan performs regular flights on two domestic routes to St. Petersburg (daily) and Simferopol (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays). In addition, on Sundays, the “Rossiya” operates the flights from Kazan to Larnaca in the framework of its partnership with tour operators.

In just the first 9 months of 2016 “Russia” made from/to the airport “Kazan” about 750 flights, making the transportation of more than 85 thousand passengers. In accordance with the new tradition of the names of the courts, in the Park of airline “Russia” is already flying planes “Moscow”, “Volgograd”, “Vladivostok”, “Orenburg”, “Rostov-on-don”, “Smolensk”, “Nizhniy Novgorod”, “Sochi”, “Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy”, “Yekaterinburg”, “Khabarovsk”, “Magadan”, “Novosibirsk” and “Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk”. The first ship, named after the Russian city, was the “Saint-Petersburg”.

Today, in the Park of airline “Russia” are 31 Airbus A320, 15 Boeing 737 aircraft, six aircraft family, the Boeing 777 and six Boeing 747.
