Аэропорт "Пулково" и "Морской фасад" будут сотрудничать для развития туристического потенциала Санкт-Петербурга LLC “Northern Capital gateway” (VVSS), managing company of Pulkovo airport, JSC “Passenger Port Saint Petersburg “Marine facade” will unite the efforts to increase the attractiveness of St. Petersburg as a tourist centre. The corresponding agreement of the company concluded on October 14, 2016 in the international tourist exhibition INWETEX, the press service of the airport “Pulkovo”.

The parties will cooperate in the interaction with state authorities of the Russian Federation and St. Petersburg to create favorable conditions for the development of tourism, increasing volume of passenger transportation of air and sea transport, attraction to the city of tourists. It is planned joint work aimed at the simplification of the visa regime and rules of stay in St. Petersburg for foreign tourists arriving in the Northern capital, ships and aircraft. Among other things, the companies intend to develop a joint initiative to ensure the possibility of 72-hour visa-free stay in St. Petersburg for tourists arriving aircraft and departing on cruise and ferry vessels, and Vice versa.

Among other areas of work ‒ information partnership, exchange of experience, joint participation in Congress and exhibition, cultural and social events.

“Infrastructure and quality of service of passengers at Pulkovo today meet the highest international standards. In addition, SCD is constantly expanding the airport’s route network, linking Saint Petersburg with direct flights to new cities around the world. In turn, the “Marine facade” offers great opportunities for travel through the Baltic sea region and is actively working to increase the volume of inbound cruise tourism in St. Petersburg. We hope that our joint efforts will give new impetus to development of transport complex of the city and improve its tourism potential,” said CEO of SD Vladimir Yakushev.
