October 11-12, 2016 in Tyumen, chaired by the Deputy head of the Federal air transport Agency of the Chairman of LMS Rosaviation, Oleg Storchevoy Control inspection of safety and Control flight operation was organized and hosted an extended meeting of the Flight-methodical Council (LMS) of the Federal air transport Agency on issues of safety in civil aviation and review the most pressing issues of safety in the autumn-winter period of 2016 and 2017. It is reported by the Federal air transport Agency.
The meeting was attended by over 140 professionals from 78 of the Russian civil aviation organizations and the aviation industry.
Opening the meeting, Oleg Storchevoy said that the aim of LMS of the Federal air transport Agency is to promote the increase of level of safety in air transport, in this work LMS does not exclusively focus on problems of flight operation of the aircraft. Through the work of the LMS the Federal air transport Agency has already studied the safety issues associated with terrestrial infrastructure of civil aviation.
“At the plenary meeting were discussed the issues of safety in civil aviation of the Russian Federation following the results of 9 months of 2016; the experience and practice of solving problems of safety in the Tyumen interregional territorial Department of air transport of Federal air transport Agency, the Russian Federation’s participation in the work of the expert group of ICAO for the training of flight crews. An important place in the plenary was devoted to the culture of safety. Presentations on this topic were made by the representatives of PJSC “Airline “UTair”, the Ural MTU Rosaviation and administration of the inspection of safety of Federal air transport Agency. In the reports special attention was given to the system of provision of data on hazards, training in safety management and promoting safety,” said the Federal air transport Agency.
The meeting made decisions on the issues on which to concentrate LMS Rosaviation.
