Stationed in Lithuania fighters of the French air force Mirage 2000 will do shaving on Tuesday the airspace of Estonia, joining the daily training in the Estonian sky fighters of the German air force Eurofighter Typhoon said on Monday the headquarters of the Estonian defence Forces, reports RIA Novosti.
“Two fighters of the French air force Mirage 2000 will do shaving on Tuesday the airspace of Estonia, the aircraft are aircrafts, stationed at the air base Siauliai in Lithuania. The flights will be carried out in the second half of the day and will be held not less than 152 meters, or 500 feet, and preferably away from populated areas”, — stated in the message.
Earlier, the Chief of the defence Force headquarters announced that based in Estonia at the airbase ämari airbase near Tallinn aircraft of the German air force Eurofighter Typhoon from Monday to Friday will make weekly twin flying at low altitudes. Flights are based on agreements between countries PATO in designated areas. Such areas to fly at low altitudes allocated by the governments of the Baltic States.

The Baltic States have no aircraft suitable for air patrol, therefore since April 2004 (after their entry into PATO) protected airspace involved in the rotation planes of the North Atlantic Alliance, based in Lithuania at Zokniai airfield five kilometers from Siauliai.
