Игорь Чечиков: Санкции не сказались на сотрудничестве с Европой по ремонту вертолетной техники Cooperation of Russia with European countries for the repair of Russian helicopters did not stop for one day, despite the sanctions, said Deputy General Director of the holding “Russian Helicopters” (part of state Corporation rostec) after-sales service Igor Chechikov. This writes TASS.

“To stop or reduce cooperation with us on helicopter equipment is like voluntarily harm himself. Our cooperation in this area did not stop with one country operating our helicopters, for a single day,” said Chichikov, responding to a question.

He explained that helicopters may be operated only with the appropriate certified support developer and manufacturer of major components and assemblies, because it is directly related to safety.

“We are in daily cooperation with all countries, which operated our machines, but above all in the framework of after-sales service, given the General political atmosphere. In my opinion, in the field of after-sales service of Russian helicopters, the sanctions policy has no effect, I would even say that our relations with Western partners have become more pragmatic and balanced”, – said the Agency interlocutor.
