The government of Japan has banned the South Korean smartphone Galaxy Note 7 Samsung Electronics in the aircraft of the airlines of the country, following similar measures in the United States out of fear of the fire of their batteries, reports RIA Novosti with reference to the Agency Kyodo.
So, Japan Airlines (JAL) has already warned passengers on its website about the prohibition to carry these smartphones in the domestic and international flights in any kind of Luggage. Other airlines will also follow this.
However, it is noted that in Japan sales of the Galaxy Note 7 was not, so the ban will affect only a limited number of passengers.
The U.S. Department of transportation before also banned passengers of domestic flights, as well as those who leave the United States or arrives in the country to carry Galaxy Note7.
In South Korea, manufacturing and selling this model discontinued because of a series of incidents involving the ignition of the electric batteries when charging.
