The Bank in the lawsuit, asked to recover the debt under the credit agreement, which was concluded in September 2014. The lawsuit also contained requirements to foreclose on the property and termination of the agreement about opening of credit line.

In the pre-meeting, the representative of the airline objected to meet the stated requirements. The lawyer also said that was partial payment under the contract.

Rosaviation since March 15, restricted operator certificate “Kogalymavia”. This decision, as reported by the Agency, was made on the basis of the requirements of the air legislation and the conclusions of technical inspection acts, which established discrepancies and failures, especially in the area of financial-economic condition of the carrier that affects the safety of flights.

In addition, on March 24, the Federal air transport Agency has also denied the airline “Kogalymavia” tolerances on 13 international destinations. In particular, the Federal air transport Agency revoked the tolerances on the directions from Moscow to Yerevan from Ufa to Bishkek, from Perm to Bishkek and Osh cities, from Kaliningrad to Bishkek and Osh from St. Petersburg to Nahichevan and other cities.

The biggest disaster in the history of Russian and Soviet aviation took place on 31 October 2015: Airbus A321 airline “Kogalymavia”, which was flying from Sharm El Sheikh to St Petersburg, crashed in the Sinai, killing 217 passengers and seven crew members. According to the FSB of the Russian Federation, the accident occurred in the attack.
