Moscow aviation centre (MATS) began conducting test flights for training control helicopter in difficult weather conditions, have informed in Department on Affairs of civil defence, emergencies and fire safety of Moscow, reports RIA Novosti.
“MATZ began test flights. The pilots improve their skills control of helicopters in difficult weather conditions. Every year pilots MATZ pass a reference check to confirm their ability to work in autumn and winter, when it snows”,- stated in the message.
It is noted that when the outside temperature ranges from plus three to minus five, there is a risk of icing sites.
State institution “Moscow aviation centre” was established in may 2003 for development of aviation technologies, and security of city life. MATZ performs all of the aviation work on the prevention and elimination of consequences of emergency situations in the capital and in the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative areas. Among his most important task is to extinguish fires, search for missing people in forests, evacuation of victims from the scene of a major accident.
