4 November 2016 in Madrid took place the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between the airline “Ukraine International Airlines” and the company Amadeus. Representatives of the parties were made by the UIA President Yuri Miroshnikov and head of technology solutions to airlines, Amadeus, Julia Sattel, the press service of the airline.
UIA has successfully completed the implementation of complex technology solutions Amadeus Altéa Suite, which enabled the airline not only to translate all the processes of passenger service on a single platform and thus improve the work efficiency, but also to offer customers a variety of tariff levels, as well as the most wide range of additional services.
“The migration to Amadeus Altéa will enable UIA to implement an ambitious business plan for the development of the transportation network and within 5 years, to 2021 and expand the fleet to 91 aircraft, as well as to increase annual passenger numbers to 20 million travelers, said UIA President Yuri Miroshnikov. The use of the Altéa platform will enable us to further improve the operating model low cost carrier and to strengthen the position of the leader of the Ukrainian aviation market. Thus, economy class passengers have the opportunity to develop a package of services and, consequently, to choose the most appropriate tariff, while customers on business class is offered aviation product optimal ratio price/quality. Moreover, thanks to Altéa MAU get considerable advantages in matters of interline and code-sharing, as well as additional growth opportunities in the field of merchandising and digital technology.”
