Between Armenia and Russia in the field of civil aviation has a policy of “open skies”, said Friday in Yerevan, the Minister of transport of Russia, Chairman of the Russian part of the intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation, the Armenian and Russian Minister of transport Maxim Sokolov. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
“Between Armenia and Russia in the field of civil aviation already has a policy of “open skies”. It helps to liberalize air travel between the two countries,” — said Sokolov at the opening of the Fifth Russian-Armenian interregional forum and the First international forum of the Eurasian partnership.
As to road transport, according to him, the Eurasian economic Union and it helps to simplify and increase efficiency. “Coordinated efforts are under way to further enhance the efficiency of the Railways”, — said Sokolov.
EurAsEC is the international economic integration Association, created on the basis of the Customs Union and the common economic space starting from 1 January 2015. Its current membership are Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
