Joint European-Russian company OOO “Sinerteka”, founders of which are JSC “Russian space systems” (RKS, part of state Corporation “Roscosmos”), and the largest European aerospace Corporation, Airbus Defence and Space (Airbus DS), began manufacturing a highly reliable solid-state power amplifiers (TUM) for spacecraft for various purposes of navigation, communication, Earth remote sensing (ERS). Specially created for this modern production and testing facilities have been certified in accordance with the requirements and standards of Airbus Defence and Space. The opening of the new joint venture took place in the presence of the Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev.

Power amplifiers are key elements of transmission devices of spacecraft navigation, communications, remote sensing of the Earth. They amplify the signal on Board the spacecraft, allowing the terminals of the consumers on the Ground to provide target function. Conducted by experts of Airbus Defence and Space inspections of the manufacturing and testing facilities “Sinerteka” showed that the company has fully complied with all the requirements for compliance with international production standards to ensure the highest quality and reliability. Company continuing training of production personnel in OOO “Sinerteka” and on the site of the Airbus DS in Portsmouth, UK,” – noted in the company.
RKS CEO Andrey Tyulin: “Created in conjunction with Airbus DS production fully complies with international requirements. We have begun to localize and ready from January 2017 to start serial production of unique solid-state power amplifiers for domestic space industry.”

Assembly and test center “Sinerteka”, which was read by the Chairman of the RF Government Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin and General Director of Roscosmos Igor Komarov, located on Baumanskaya street in Moscow and has an area of 1000 square meters. The center is equipped with the most modern and high-tech equipment and has a dedicated clean area for carrying out all cycle of works on assembling and testing TOM. Serial production of the amplifiers will begin in 2017. “Sinerteka” and its founders plan to eventually expand the range of manufactured products.
