The fourth helicopter of the Moscow aviation centre (MATS) will be on duty from 1 November to permanent duty for more efficient work and prompt assistance to residents of the capital, told RIA Novosti in the press service of MATS.
Currently on permanent patrol over the capital, there are three helicopter and two ambulance and one fire.
“Three or four calls a day for the crews of the civil code “MATZ” is the norm. Therefore, for more efficient work and prompt assistance to residents of the capital from 1 November to permanent duty MATS will put a third helicopter, sanitary. An increasing number of challenges to somatic patients, patients with strokes and heart attacks, so the aviation center puts on duty another helicopter,” – said the press service.
State institution “Moscow aviation centre” was established in may 2003 for development of aviation technologies, and security of city life. MATZ performs all of the aviation work on the prevention and elimination of consequences of emergency situations in the capital and in the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative areas. Among his most important task is to extinguish fires, search for missing people in forests, evacuation of victims from the scene of a major accident.
