The issue of exclusion of Kazakh airlines from the “black list” of the European Commission will decide in late November, Chairman of civil aviation Committee of Kazakhstan Beken of Y. seidakhmetov, reports Forbes Kazakhstan.
“In September I had the Commission. Audit of the European Commission on the compliance of the safety requirements we appreciated, and we received a report from the EU that meet the requirements. On November 23 we headed by Vice-Minister go to the reporting Commission, which will decide about the exclusion of Kazakh airlines from the “black list”. If the question does not have a policy, then I am sure that this question must be resolved,” commented the Y. seidakhmetov. He said that at present the level of conformity of the Kazakhstan airlines to the requirements of the International civil aviation organization (ICAO) was 74%.
“We are in the “black list” of EU countries. Currently, the level of compliance with ICAO standards is 74%. This figure, which almost reaches the average European level. This is very good, above many of the CIS countries”, – said the head of the Committee of the RK.
